OUR MISSION
Toys 4 Autism - our mission is to provide specialized toys to children and adults on the autism spectrum. They help promote focusing and concentration and decrease stress.
Toys 4 Autism will accomplish this purpose by:
- Maintaining a wish list on Amazon where donors can select from a specialized list of toys and have them shipped to us for distribution.
- Setting up a Facebook fundraiser page for donors that would rather donated money and have us pick out the toys or use the money for other necessities, like gift bags, wrapping paper, candies etc.
- Having a presence on social media and local newspapers.
- Maintaining a website, to get the word out about what we do.
- Soliciting corporate sponsors to help us grow as an organization.
- These toys will be distributed at holiday parties & other events during the year at local schools and programs that deal with autism.
Sensory Toys are specially designed toys for children that are developed to engage a child's attention both cognitively and physically by stimulating one or more of the five senses: sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste.
